We will also examine how the philosophy of science has changed the way in which most problems are viewed and how solutions are found. Why is that the growth of science which has brought so much certainty to our lives has also brought much uncertainty as 'eternal verities' vanish? Is science the only thing which is actually working well in the modern world? (Input from group members is welcome!)
