Continuing course, adapted to needs of students. Will contain oral as well as reading and grammar work and lots of easy-paced, good-humoured revision for those who have `lapsed'.
Hilary has degrees in Medieval History and in French - she worked in music administration and teaching.

Drawing on 30 years of research for the British Government, Peter will discuss various aspects of crime, policing and the criminal justice system. Personal, historical and international perspectives will also be included.

The course will provide a study of The Merchant of Venice. We shall read the play in class, and discuss some of the most interesting aspects - plot, characterization, imagery etc. Copies of the play are readily available in second-hand bookshops.
Leone was a teacher of English Literature at HSC level for many years, with post-graduate qualifications in Shakespearean studies.
