Two hunters

Hunter A walks South to a point some distance from the South Pole, then walk East until he is back at that same point, (all the way round the Earth) then walks North to the camp.

Hunter B walks South, crossing the South Pole and keeps walking in that direction (actually going North) until he is further North than the camp, at which point he walks East until he is directly North of the camp, (halfway round the Earth) then walks South back to the camp.

-----------------------------------------------

The Hunter A component is a fairly well-known puzzle.

A variant of the Hunter B answer has a somewhat similar procedure. He walks South but not to reach the South Pole. He then walks East until the South Pole and his camp are in a direct line (halfway round the Earth). He then walks South, crossing the South Pole and keeps walking back to the camp, (actually going North).
