Recipes for Nectar
There is a brew I love to drink,
Its name is Athol Brose,
And when I drink a lot of it
I get a rosy nose.
The recipe to make this drink
Is simple as can be;
A bowl to put ingredients in,
And there are only three.
Five hundred mils of honey
And the same amount of cream.
Now, "What's the third?" you're wondering,
That makes this drink supreme.
Just blend all three together,
It's impossible to botch.
What was the third thing that I used? —
A bottleful of Scotch!
Another draft I love to drink,
Its name is Whisky Sour,
Despite its name, it is so sweet;
I sip it by the hour.
The recipe to make this drink
Is simple as can be;
A bowl to put ingredients in,
And there are only three.
The juice of limes or lemons;
One eighty mils will do.
Six tablespoons of sugar
To stir into the brew.
A bottleful of J & B
Completes this drink divine.
It has a quite exquisite taste,
Far better than a wine.
