Lunatickle

When I was handed some actual Moon rocks
I immediately took off my shoes and socks.
And performed a feat, with my bare feet,
That millions have wished but failed to meet.

I stepped upon that lunar stone
And told the world what I had done.
"I am the first to set foot on the Moon."
A fact, beyond doubt, that none can impugn.

With that achievement over and done,
I'm going to go and sit in the sun.
